The numbers below are the skill's own worked example: 500 units sold in 30 days, 40% of sales from ads, 800 units on hand, restock in 55 days.

I sold 500 units in the last 30 days and about 40% of that comes from ads. I have 800 units at Amazon and my restock lands in 55 days. Do I need to slow my PPC down?

Running the throttle math with the default 5-day receiving buffer:

daily_velocity500 / 30= 16.67 units/day

ppc_daily_sales16.67 × 40%= 6.67 units/day

days_of_cover800 / 16.67= 48.0 days

required_days55 + 5 buffer= 60 days

sustainable_daily_rate800 / 60= 13.33 units/day

total_cut_rate(16.67 - 13.33) / 16.67= 20%

ppc_cut_rate20% / 40%= 50%

48.0 days of cover against 60 days to bridge. Verdict: throttle.

Sell your PPC-driven sales down 50%, from 6.67 to 3.33 units/day. Your total pace slows from 16.67 to 13.33 units/day, and the stock lasts exactly until the restock is checked in. You sell through at full price the whole way.
