This Privacy Policy explains how Lambda, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Inventory Hero,” “we,” “us”), handles information when you use inventoryhero.ai (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

What We Collect

Account information: email, name, company name, and billing information.

Connected account data: When you connect a third-party service — such as a marketplace or storefront (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop), an advertising account (Amazon Ads), an email or messaging account (Gmail, Slack), or a system you connect through an MCP server — we access data from that service solely to provide the Service. Depending on the service, this includes product and listing information, orders, inventory levels, fees, advertising data, account information, and communications content.

Credentials you provide: Where you connect an account by providing a credential directly (such as an app password or API key), we store that credential in encrypted form and use it solely to provide the Service.

Usage and device information: how you interact with the Service, IP address, browser type, and operating system.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, process transactions, communicate about your account, improve the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal basis (EEA/UK users): we process personal information where necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, or with your consent where required.

Amazon Data Handling

We access your Amazon data solely to provide the Service. We delete buyer personal information within 30 days of order shipment, as required by Amazon's Data Protection Policy. We do not sell your Amazon data, share it with other Inventory Hero users, or use it for marketing.

Google API Services and Gmail

Inventory Hero's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you connect a Gmail account, we access your mailbox solely to provide features you enable, including reading and searching messages and attachments and creating drafts. We do not maintain a copy of your mailbox; information extracted from it, including within assistant conversation records, is retained as part of your account data. We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models, and we share it with third parties only as necessary to provide these features or as required by law. You can disconnect Gmail at any time; if you connected using an app password, that app password remains active in your Google Account until you delete it there.

AI Processing

AI infrastructure providers: Some features are powered by third-party AI infrastructure providers. These providers process data under contracts that do not permit them to store it or to use it to train their models.

Our AI agents: The Service includes AI agents operated by us that may read data in your account and connected accounts and act on your behalf as you direct, approve, or configure.

AI Assistant Connections

Authorized AI clients: You may connect AI assistant applications (such as Claude) to the Service through our Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface. Access requires your explicit OAuth authorization.

Data accessed and used: When an authorized AI client calls a Service tool, it may read or write your inventory, product, supplier, sales and other data within the Service, solely to perform the function you requested.

Tool call logging: We log each tool invocation, including request content, for security, reliability, and analytics purposes.

Revoking access: You can disconnect an authorized AI client at any time.

Information Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help operate the Service (such as hosting, payment processing, authentication, and AI infrastructure), when required by law, and in connection with a business transfer. A current list of sub-processors is available on request. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and to measure how it is used. This includes Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement and PostHog for product analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@inventoryhero.ai. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

The Service is hosted in the United States. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK to the United States, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable) as the transfer mechanism.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our incident response process is described on our Incident Response page.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations. Buyer personal information obtained through Amazon's Selling Partner API is deleted within 30 days of order shipment.

When you disconnect a connected account, we delete the stored credential and stop accessing that account. Information already obtained remains part of your account data until you delete your account or request deletion.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
